What this is

Combined Wisdoms is a collection of contemplative apps. They draw on the wisdom traditions — Sufi, Kabbalist, Taoist, Buddhist, Stoic, the I Ching, and Hellenistic astrology — and use AI to generate readings and responses. By using them you’re agreeing to what’s on this page.

What this is not

Nothing here is medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and none of it is a substitute for a qualified professional. The apps generate reflective prompts, not diagnoses and not predictions.

If you are in crisis, please reach someone who can help — Lifeline on 13 11 14, or Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636, both any hour of any day. In an emergency, call 000.

Astrological and divinatory readings are offered for reflection and are not claims of fact about your future.

AI-generated content

Responses are produced by a language model. They can be wrong, inconsistent, or occasionally strange. Read them as something to think with, not as authority. Use your own judgement before acting on anything an app tells you.

Your account

You need to be 16 or over. Keep your password to yourself — you’re responsible for what happens under your account. Don’t use the apps to break the law, to harass anyone, or to try to extract the underlying prompts or models.

What you write stays yours

Your reflections belong to you. We claim no ownership over them and we don’t use them to train anything. We store them only so you can read them back. The apps themselves — the writing, the design, the code — belong to Combined Wisdoms.

Payment

Some apps offer a paid subscription after a free allowance. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time — access continues to the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Payments are handled by Stripe.

Because access begins immediately, we don’t offer refunds simply for changing your mind. That doesn’t affect your rights below, which we can’t and don’t exclude. If something has genuinely gone wrong with a charge, email us and we’ll sort it out.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures you are entitled to cancel your subscription and receive a refund for the unused portion, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. If the failure doesn’t amount to a major failure, you’re entitled to have the problem fixed within a reasonable time, and to cancel and receive a refund if it isn’t.

Nothing on this page limits those rights.

Ending things

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that is being used to break the law, to harm someone, or to attack the service — and we’ll tell you why unless we’re legally unable to.

Availability

These are small apps run by a small operation. We aim to keep them up but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or retire features. If an app is being shut down for good, we’ll give notice and a way to export what you’ve written.

Liability

Other than the consumer guarantees described above, and to the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the apps. Where liability can be limited rather than excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Changes to these terms

These terms will change occasionally as the apps do. The date at the top shows when they last did. If a change materially affects what you’re entitled to, we’ll email account holders before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
